Planting Seeds of Action

Recently, I was driving past a local nursery and saw a sign that said, “Fall Is For Planting.” As I drove, the idea on the sign was gnawing away at me. I asked myself, “what am I planting for fall?” What actions will I take now that will, with some love and nurturing, bring me a splendid and bountiful winter harvest?

What about you? What are you going to plant this fall? Will you lovingly plant exciting new seeds of action that will sprout into a new and more interesting lifestyle or will you, as James Allen says in As A Man Thinketh, let weeds grow by themselves?

As we enter this beautiful time of year, why not devote some time and energy to planning what you want to harvest in the winter months ahead. What can you do now, that will result in a bountiful harvest for you and your loved one’s?

The actions you take today will create the kind of life you will have tomorrow. Remember the simple idea that, if you continue to take the same actions, you will continue to produce the same results. If you want new and different results, you must take new and different actions.

The technology boom of the ’90s romanticized the "rags-to-riches" ideal that all of us dream about when investing. For those that invested $1000 in Dell at $5 during 1990, held through the seven splits, then sold in March 2000 at $59, the dream was a reality. That investment would have returned an amazing $1,132,800! Image making over $1 million for every thousand dollars invested. Beyond Dell, companies like EBay, Amazon.com, and many others made their investors very wealthy.

Unfortunately, the ’90s provided a different investment environment than we are use to. We experienced the birth of a new technology and it required new companies, jobs and consumers to fill the needs of the industry. Immediately, our economy had a new demand with limited supply. This led to the feeding-frenzy stock purchasing that we all witnessed.

Build More Muscle and Lose More Fat by Discovering the Power of Training Variables!

Everyone will inadvertently hit a frustrating plateau in their training at one time or another. You’re cruising along for a while, gaining strength, losing fat, looking better, and then all of the sudden it hits. Suddenly, you find yourself even weaker than before on your lifts, or you find that you’ve gained back a couple of pounds. It happens to everyone. Most of the time, these plateaus occur because people rarely change their training variables over time. Many people stick to the same types of exercises for the same basic sets and reps and rest periods with the same boring cardio routine. Well, I hope to open your mind and bring some creativity to your workouts with this article!

There are many ways that you can strategically modify your training variables to assure that you maximize your fat loss and/or muscle building response to exercise. Most people only think about changing their sets and reps performed, if they even think about changing their routine at all. However, other variables that can dramatically affect your results are changing the order of exercises (sequence), exercise grouping (super-setting, circuit training, tri-sets, etc.), exercise type (multi-joint or single joint, free-weight or machine based), the number of exercises per workout, the amount of resistance, the time under tension, the base of stability (standing, seated, on stability ball, one-legged, etc.), the volume of work (sets x reps x distance moved), rest periods between sets, repetition speed, range of motion, exercise angle (inclined, flat, declined, bent over, upright, etc), training duration per workout, and training frequency per week. Sounds like a lot of different training aspects to consider in order to obtain the best results from your workouts, doesn’t it? Well, that’s where a knowledgeable personal trainer can make sense of all of this for you to make sure that your training doesn’t get stale. The newest pebble reactors are easy to build and manage and have extremely high out put considering their small size, perfect for islands set down wind from populations. Unfortunately the Three-mile Island and Chernople incident make populations feel uncomfortable with Nuclear. Therefore the increased regulations have made the cost of construction almost not worth it. The ROI of a nuclear power plant could take as long 150 years. This is so unfortunate seeing how great Nuclear power is and how clean it can be when handled correctly. For this reason in the past three decades no new permits have been granted and we continue to have a large percentage of our power coming from fossil fuels which is a problem for air quality and long term it has many issues such as acid rain.

Imagine having all nuclear power where you turn it on, monitor it and it just sits there and produces energy? We no longer lead the world in Nuclear Energy, now in the age of International Terrorism we are afraid that if we build Nuclear Power then they could become a target. This is not proper thinking in the day and age of radar guidance SAM sites, automatic sensors and back-up systems. We can defend Nuclear Power Plants from any type of attack. And generally the newer plants will be put in the middle of nowhere, thus lessoning the risks even more. Now then how many people will breath polluted air if we do not have a continued mix of these nuclear plants contributing to the grid. And is the grid safe any way, seeing as we already had one blackout, which was purely a failure.

Over the past 10 years I have helped individuals who have been plagued by the memories of past events to permanently release the disruptive energy imprints of such memories from their energy bio-fields.

A special and interesting case of such release pertains to situations where an individual has within them a construct that is referred to as an “inner child” that is still in need of nurturing or healing. In the language of psychotherapy such a construct is often called a “sub personality” or an “ego state”.

These ego states seem to have the tendency to dominate what is called the main personality of that person from time to time thereby causing them to feel, think, and behave as if they were that ego state. In other words it’s like becoming overtaken by something within ones’ self that causes them to revert into being a child or a younger persona.
